Mukherjee Award, US Fulbright Award, Salzburg Fellowship Award, UGC Career Award, Indo-French Fellowship Award, Shastri Indo- Canadian Fellowship Award, UGC Indo-French Fellowship Award, McMaster Visiting Scholar Fellowship Award & Honorary Citizenship of Nebraska, USA etc.
  4. Member of several MHRD Committees, such as Central Advisory Board of Education, Indian National Commission for Cooperation with UNESCO; Member of Jury to assess the projects under Indo-German Academic Partnership held at Bonn, Germany.
  5. Served as Chairperson of 10 UGC Peer Teams for Sanction of/ Extension of Autonomus Status to Colleges'

A few examples: Founder Member of International Forum for India's Heritage; Core Member of Malaviya Mulya Anushilan Kendra, BHU; Member Secretary, Geeta Samiti, BHU, where I organized discourses by great spiritual Gurus, to name a few Shri Morari Bapu, Shri Ramesh Bhai Oza, Guru Sharnanandji, Swamini Vimalanandaji, Swami Jayendra Saraswati, Swami Tejomayanandji; and delivered keynote addresses in many Universities on India's Intellectual Tradition.
