  • The Ph.D. thesis received high commendation from eminent scholars, Prof. Rashiddudin Khan, and Prof. A.B. Lal who described it as a "a distinct contribution and a valuable addition" to the field of Political Theory.

  • 8 Post-Doctoral Major and Minor Research Projects completed (Annex. 3). This includes a Major Research Project (2005) under the National Institute of Public Co-operation and Child Development (NIPCCD) titled ‘Family Court in Varanasi’; and two U.G.C. Major Research Projects, one on ‘Eurocentrism in Political Theory: Explorations in Indian Political Thought’; the second on ‘Feminist Challenges to Modern Social Sciences: A Cross Cultural Exploration’.
  • One of the research students, Shamim Fatema received President's Award for her research work entitled ‘Maulana Abul Kalam Azad's Political Ideas’.
